Just returned from Nawth Alibam’s Shining City on the hill and the quarterly maintenance of gums. Nice fog on the mountain. As in actually fog – as opposed to the exaggerated stuff reported by the Weather Beavers – and quite clean. If anything worse returning than going because of the higher angle of Sol.
I was reminded that fog also brings out the stupidity in Alibam drivers. Saw too many motoring along (or not) with their lamps disengaged and twice someone who had stopped on US231 – 65 MPH limit mostly exceeded – and turned on their flashing lamps. AS if that would provide adequate distance of warning in this soup.
Happily no fatalities that I could observe and so home to hide from the haggis-brains.
