Wednesday again, staff call and all that to get done, so this will have to be a short one.
Not much in the podcast this morning that stuck. But I was rather glad that the gym doesn’t have small hard objects about. I was watching the morning news out of Nawth Alibam’s Shining City on the Hill and the schmuck news reader announced that Mutt Repulsian had a resounding victory in the election in the Floridas. Resounding? and less that 0.5 of the votes? No wonder journalism is in extremis.
As I was donning my foot gear after ablutions I reflected on how it is impossible to buy replacement shoe laces any more. Whenever I buy a new pair of shoes they come with laces that turn out to be some odd ball size, either in length or width, if not both, that is impossible to duplicate. Even with the extent of the internet! Is this some sort of consipiracy to get you to buy new shoes every time the laces wear out?
Speaking of which, it occurs that on can push a string. But only for twice its length, maximum. Then you are pulling it.
