Ex Oram Infantas
Much is being made about the Firefox question at the State Department ‘town hall meeting’ the other day. [Link] I find it enthralling that they can spend the money to video the meeting but they rationalize an incredibly antiquarian management decision based on the cost of supporting Firefox. Makes one want to enquire if this is beltway pussy footing around saying that folks who work at state are not supposed to be wasting time on the internet? That would be consistent with so much of how the Yankee government, for that matter any American government, is run.
If this were defense instead of state the answer would be much simpler if no less evaded. After all who wants to admit that a major component of the Yankee government is the information property of an OS vendor?
But you do have to admire the cunning ineptitude of the former first lady. Rather reminds me of those natural disaster victims the national news programs always interview.
