I see in a local feed [Link] that students at a new high tech high school in Philadelphia will not wear uniforms and have been instructed not to resist if their school issued laptops are stolen. The school is located in a high crime area of the city. Contrary to our rosy historical view, Philadelphia has always been a bit violent, especially outside the tourist zone, but this is a bit too much.
Perhaps the war on terrorism needs to start in CONUS?
